Market Recap
Visual Here MTD: June continues to reflect a market where inventory growth is being met with steady buyer demand across the Puget Sound region. Active listings have expanded in nearly every county, providing buyers with more choice and creating a more balanced environment than many markets experienced over the past several years. Despite the increase in available inventory, pending and closed sales have generally remained stable or improved compared to the prior month, indicating buyers are continuing to engage with the market. The result is a healthier supply-and-demand dynamic where new inventory is entering the market, but demand remains strong enough to prevent a significant buildup of unsold homes. WoW: Market activity remained constructive during the third week of June as inventory continued to climb across most counties while buyer demand showed signs of resilience. Although new listing activity was mixed from market to market, buyers continued to absorb a meaningful share of fresh inventory, particularly in higher-demand areas such as Seattle and the Eastside. Some counties experienced modest pullbacks in pending sales following a strong spring run, but overall contract activity remains consistent with a market that is transitioning into its seasonal summer pattern rather than slowing materially. Inventory continues to rise, but buyers remain active enough to keep market conditions relatively balanced heading into the second half of the year.
