Number of Connectors Location of Public EV Charging Devices, 2021 Location of Public EV Charging Connectors, 2020

locations have not varied substantially year-on-year. Location categories that saw significant increases were on-street (by 3,165 devices), public car park (by 1123 devices), and retail car park (by 1080 devices). These year- on-year increases were much larger than those seen in 2020. The only location at which the number of connectors decreased year-on-year was bus stations (by 4 devices to 26). It should be noted that the number of charging devices is not directly comparable to the number of petrol or diesel pumps in the UK as usage behaviours differ.
