A team of 16 professional members and three public members , Council regulates the engineering and geoscience professions. Accountable to Albertans and committed to public safety, these volunteers deliver high-level oversight, big-picture thinking, and proactive strategic planning to manage risks and map our future.

*Theresa Watson, P.Eng., stepped down as an APEGA councillor in September for personal reasons. She was elected in 2020, with her term set to expire in April 2023. Former councillor Geoffrey Kneller, P.Eng., was appointed to fill the vacancy until the 2023 election.

**In 2022, the Government of Alberta did not fill two of the three public-member roles.
