Education & Qualifications Essential: • Health and Safety Qualification e.g., IOSH, NEBOSH Desirable: • Educated to degree level or equivalent • Membership of relevant professional bodies IWFM, CMI • Project Management Qualification
Experience • Experience of estate strategy development in a comparable setting • Demonstrable experience of transformational change within a team, embedding process and structure and clear working practices • Experience of managing a significant Estate and its associated teams • Experience of managing large-scale capital projects • Able to effectively manage significant budgets, both operational and capital Skills & Knowledge Essential: • Strong leadership skills, with the ability to motivate a diverse team, resulting in high quality and Best Practice performance throughout • Excellent interpersonal skills - clear communicator • Excellent stakeholder and contractor management skills • Process driven; continuous review and maintenance of operational processes, ensuring a robust and streamlined service is always delivered • Excellent written skills - report writing, strategy documentation • Strong problem solving and decision-making abilities • Pro-active, self-starter - able to work autonomously, and drive change • Knowledge of Health & Safety legislation
