Oni ne prave kolače s orasima, tamo vla- daju bademi. FISH TASTES DIFFERENT The food is varied in Scandinavia. There ise plenty of fish, but it is of northern kind. They do not smell like our Mediterranean kind and are prepared in a different way – with plenty of spi- ces and milky sauces. In general, the dairy indu- stry is pretty well developed in Scandinavia. But at their latitude they are not familiar with whi- te cheeses like our Serbian cheese and Balkan cheese in general. In Scandinavia, milk and cre- am are the basis of dairy production. The most famous cake, “Princess”, consists of a single crust, lots of sweet whipped cream and a marzi- pan coating. They do not make cakes with wal- nuts, instead, almonds dominate.
