Fotografija velikog crno-belog portreta Robina Vi- lijamsa, koji je nikao pod Brankovim mostom samo dan posle njegove tragične smrti, obišla je svet i do- bila aplauz svih njegovih fanova kao prvi takav omaž slavnom glumcu. Autor nije potpisan, što je čudno za grafitere, ali se ispostavilo da je u pitanju Marko, student jednog umetničkog fakulteta, ne toliko po- znat u krugovima grafitera. Želeo je da ostane anoni- man, kako je naglašavao, da bi akcenat bio na samom liku Robina Vilijamsa. Portreti jesu odnedavno trend među uličnim slikarima, pa su „svoje zidove“ dobili mnogi umetnici, sportisti, naučnici… – Mnogi od tih autora nemaju čak ni veze sa grafi- tima, ali znaju da rade portrete i imaju potrebu da na taj način izraze nekom poštovanje. Svakako, za laike je taj foto-realizam uvek pristupačniji od poruka grafite- ra koje treba tumačiti – smatra Bojan Stevanović, gra- fiter-umetnik.

PRVI OMAŽ ROBINU VILIJAMSU OSVANUO JE U BEOGRADU THE FIRST HOMAGE TO ROBIN WILLIAMS APPEARED IN BELGRADE
A photograph of a large black-and-white por- trait of Robin Williams, which appeared under Branko’s Bridge just a day after the actor’s tragic death, toured the world and received ovations from all of his fans as the first such homage to this famous actor. The author did not sign the work, which is un- usual for graffiti aritsts, but it turned out that it was Marko, an art college student who’s not so well known in graffiti circles. He wanted to remain anonymous, as he noted, so that the emphasis would be on the face of Robin Williams. Portraits are a recent trend among street artists, so many have gained “their own walls”, including artists, athletes, scientists... - Many of these authors don’t even have links with graffiti, but they know how to do portraits and they have a need to express respect for someone in this way. Certainly, for lay folk this photo-realism is al- ways more accessible than graffiti messages that re- quire interpreting – considers graffiti artist Bojan Ste- vanović.
