Mark Zachos Mark Zachos is the Founder of The Dearborn Group Inc. and President of DG Technologies. Since 1988, Mr. Zachos has been obtaining engineering experience in automotive electronics, cyber security, vehicle diagnostics and communications. He has authored many technical papers on On-Board Diagnostics (OBD) and in-vehicle networking; he holds more than 10 patents on vehicle communications technology. Mark is the Head of USA Technical Advisory Group (TAG) to the International Standards Organization (ISO) Road Vehicle Electronics Standards Sub-com- mittee; he is a member of TMC, SAE and IEEE; he has been directly involved with development of over 25 light and heavy-duty vehicle technical standards. Mark is the chairman of several technical standards teams including: the American Trucking Assoc. TMC Fleet Maintenance Cyber Security Task Force, SAE J1939 Network Security Task Force, SAE J3005 (OBD “dongle” security), SAE Data Link Connector Security Committee (i.e. SAE J3138 “hardening the OBD port”) and co-chair of ISO/TC22/SC31/WG2/PT-Security. He also is a member of the Oakland County (MI) Connected Vehicle Task Force focusing on secure connected vehicle deployment; teaches embedded programming, CANbus and vehicle cyber security at The University of Michigan-Dearborn; instructs hackers at the US Army TARDEC CyberTruck Challenge; and established CyberTech - the TMC service technician troubleshooting skills challenge for identifying and repairing vehicle cyber hacks. Junqi Zheng Mr. Zheng is a well-known EMC expert who has long been engaged in the study of EMC theory and engineering and is rich in EMC practice and engineering experience. He mainly focuses on the study of EMC standard, EMC testing equipment and EMC product design for a variety of medical, civil, industrial, military and automobile parts. He has published several papers related to EMC and holds a number of EMC patents. He is accomplished in EMC product design method and the construction of EMC laboratory with his research results involving different aspects of product PCB, wave filtering, grounding, shielding, EMC system design, etc. He is the founder of “Risk Assessment Method of EMC Design” that firstly summarizes the methodology of EMC design of products which is widely adopted by R&D department of companies. He is a professional EMC instructor who has attended hundreds of EMC training courses and is thought highly of by companies and trainees. He is a leading trainer in the application of EMC engineering in China. He also holds the following positions: Secretary General of National Technical Committee of Standard- ization on Radio Interference; Deputy Director of Shanghai Testing and Inspection Institute for Electrical Equipment; General Manager of Shanghai Tianwei Certification Technology Co., Ltd.; IEC/CISPR registration specialist; IEC/ CISPR expert in the working group that develops and revises EMC standard for smart grid, photovoltaic inverter and auto parts; Member of National Technical Committee of Standardization on Electromagnetic Compatibility; Member of and Special EMC Instructor for the Expert Committee on Signal Processing of China High-tech Industrialization Association;

resulting in a 200% improvement in line transition, significant up-time improvement, product quality and lowest inventory cost in the division. One of these teams reduced inventory by 60%, had only three quality issues in two million parts and no quality problems for 18 months. This effort had the full support of both Management and UAW leadership. Ken has a Bachelor’s Degree in Finance and a Master’s Degree in Social Psychology, both from Boston University. He earned his Doctorate Degree in Organization Development and Psychology from United University in Dayton Ohio. Chengliang Yin Dr. Chengliang Yin is currently a Full Professor with Shanghai Jiao Tong University, Shanghai, China, where he is also the Vice Dean with the Institute of Automotive Engineering and the Vice Director with the National Engineering Laboratory for Automotive Electronic Control Technology. He is also currently an Advanced Technical Adviser with the Shanghai Automobile and Dongfeng Automotive Group. His research interests include automotive electronics, hybrid electric vehicles and intelligent vehicles. Dr. Yin earned Master’s and Ph.D. degrees in vehicle engineering from Jilin University and was awarded the General Motors Innovative Talent in Automotive Industry Award in 2009. Before he joint Tongju, he worked as a professor at the Electric Vehicle R&D Center, Shenzhen Institute of Advanced Technology, Chinese Academy of Sciences from 2009 to 2013. During that period of time, he played a leading role in forming Shanghai Zhongke Shenjiang Electric Vehicle Co., Ltd. (i.e. Electric Vehicle R&D Center of Chinese Academy of Sciences, or UCAS) as deputy general manager. From 1999 to 2008, he worked for DaimlerChrysler and Chrysler for over 9 years in the field of automotive powertrain research, development, design, and simulation. He is honored with such titles as the National Science and Technology Expert of China, the Expert of National Recruitment Program of Global Experts, and the Expert of Hundreds Talents Program of Chinese Academy of Sciences, and the board member of GAEC (Global Automotive Executive Committee). He is a member of SAE, ASME, STLE, ASTM, and DCEA (Detroit Chinese Engineers Association). Previously he served as a member of Shanghai New Energy Automotive and Application Standardization Technical Committee, the General Secretary of DCEA, as well as the board member of the Shanghai Division of NACSAE (North American Chinese Society of Automotive Engineers). He is the author of over 20 journal and conference technical papers and over 20 patents. He received his doctoral degree from Virginia Tech, his master’s degree from Shanghai Institute of Mechanical Engineering (currently University of Shanghai for Science and Technology), and his bachelor degree from Tsinghua University in Beijing, China.
