T he future is being built in Texarkana ISD classrooms. Across 12 campuses, TISD is redefining what a modern education can look like through advanced academics, innovative technology, hands-on learning, and career-focused pathways designed to prepare students for college, careers, and beyond. More than 2,300 students participate in TISD’s Pre-K–12 STEM initiative, building skills in science, technology, engineering, mathematics, critical thinking, and problem-solving. At the high school level, opportunities expand even further with 33 Advanced Placement courses and 459 academic college semester hours available through dual credit. As the largest provider of dual-credit courses in Bowie County, TISD gives students the opportunity to earn significant college credit and even an associate degree while still in high school. For families, completing one to two years of dual-

credit coursework can represent an estimated $20,000 to $30,000 in college savings. Across the district, state-of-the-art learning environments bring education to life. Students have opportunities to engage in STEM, fine arts, athletics, career and technical education, advanced academics, and specialized programs that extend learning far beyond the traditional classroom. From the earliest classroom experiences to graduation day, Texarkana ISD is preparing more than students who are ready for the future. It is developing

the innovators, professionals, and leaders who will shape it. TEXARKANA ISD 4241 SUMMERHILL ROAD TEXARKANA TEXAS
