into the baby’s body. If you plant a grain of popcorn you will not get Country Gentlemen com. You will get what you plant. I think if we plant a baby’s body in the soil that is what will come forth. A baby is a copy of Adam before he fell. No wonder Jesus put His arms around the children who were brought to Him. He took them to His bosom and loved them. I pray little ones may grow up to hear the Gospel of God’s OPEN MY EYES Look away from things that perish. The same Holy Spirit who keeps them helps them to understand God’s truth. Give them God’s own precious Word. The Holy Spirit will make it real to their hearts. I saw in a modernistic Sunday school paper that one mustn’t tell children about Calvary because it might give them nightmares. Well, I raised eight children of my own (of course, my wife helped me a little bit), but they never got scared at anything about the Saviour’s sacrificial death. That is another lie of Satan. My children Fix your eyes on things eternal, Wood and stone will soon decay; God and heaven will stand for aye.
learned to trust the Saviour when they were just little kiddies. They didn’t; know much about anything except that they heard God’s Gospel from the lips of their mother and daddy. Don’t let your children grow up like heathen with no knowledge of the Saviour. Fathers, have you ever read about David to your son? He called Solomon to his bedside one time and said, “My son, know thou the God of thy father!” Could you say that? Has the Lord been real to you? Perhaps some young boys are reading this message. Did you ever go to your father and say, “Dad, I want to know the God whom you know. I want the Lord to do in my life what He has done in yours.” God holds us responsible for the spiritual as well as physical care of our children. Love them, pray with them, read God’s Word to them, and lead them to the Saviour. Throughout all eternity you will be glad you did. MOVING COSTS EVERYONE
If you have just moved, or are planning to do so, you know all that is involved. But did you realize that your move can also cost the Lord's work? If you have moved and have not as yet informed us, from now on it will cost Biola 8 cents (rather than 4) in order to have the post office give us the in formation concerning your new address. If you use a post card, or the forms provided by the post office, this will mean a sub stantial savings for the work of the Lord. With a quarter of the population moving every year, according to.statistics, you can well imagine what this will ulti mately mean for Biola.
