S anjala je o tome da bude najbolja. Trenirala je u KK Herceg Novi, paralelno s napornim treninzima išla u školu, a onda na tere- nu u naselju u kojem je rasla opet terala loptu do dva ujutru. Tresla se cela Savina od tapkanja lopte po asfaltu. Bilo je čudesno gleda- ti kako devojčica, jedva veća od te basketare, ide levo, desno, pa kroz noge, a onda hop, šut… Igrala je za Beopetrol i Crve- nu zvezdu, posle toga bila članica novosadske Vojvodine, pa ruskog UGMK-a, francuskog Mondevi- la; jedno vreme bila je plejmej- ker istanbulskog Bešiktaša, posle je prešla u atinski Paleo Faliroč, a onda u francuski Lion. Pre dve go- dine ona kao kapiten i ostale de- vojke iz reprezentacije postigle su istorijski uspeh. Posle 12 godi- na Srbija je bila među četiri najbo- lja tima Evrope. Na Olimpijskim igrama u Riju opet su se upisale u istoriju. Kako živiš sada, mesec dana nakon bronze? – Kao kraljica, boginja, cari- ca… Za dve nedelje dodalo me je 50.000 ljudi na Instagramu. Uži- vam u svojih pet minuta. Cela nacija je slavila meda- lju, a šta se dešavalo mimo terena? – Išle smo iz krajnosti u kraj- She dreamed about being the best. At one time she was the playmaker of Istanbul’s “Beşiktaş”. Then she moved to Athens’ “Paleo Faliro” and after that French club “Lyon”.
