E ste libro es un llamado a la corresponsabilidad de cara a la construcción de paz en Colombia. Si bien el Estado lleva la delantera en las iniciativas, eso no reduce la responsabilidad de otros actores sociales en favor del desarrollo social del país y de todas las acciones que propendan por la convivencia pacífica. Las empresas, como piezas nucleares de los sistemas sociales, impactan con sus operaciones el entorno en que trabajan: intervienen en debates públicos, son generadoras de empleo, se dan a conocer con sus comunicaciones, ofrecen bienes y servicios, como también, por su misma esencia y por muchas razones más, están llamadas a promover el bien común, generar valor compartido y promover los comportamientos responsables entre sus distintos públicos. Por eso, hemos querido reflexionar sobre el compromiso del sector privado en la construcción de paz en el país, en el contexto de pandemia por el COVID-19. This book is a call for co-responsibility in the face of peacebuilding in Colombia. Although the State takes the lead in the initiatives, this does not reduce the responsibility of other social actors in favor of the social development of the country and of all actions that promote peaceful coexistence Companies, as nuclear pieces of social systems, impact the environment in which they work with their operations: they intervene in public debates, they are job generators, they make themselves known with their communications, they offer goods and services, as well as, by their very essence and for many more reasons, they are called to promote the common good, generate shared value and promote responsible behavior among their different audiences. For this reason, we wanted to reflect on the commitment of the private sector in building peace in the country, in the context of the COVID-19 pandemic.
