To talk about sustainability, it is necessary to explain that the term goes beyond the concept of environment; it deals with all the activities of the human being, from their private and daily spheres, to the public actions they share with different social actors, such that both are responsible for the balance of life. The authors of this book, for example, investigate and analyze the concept of care and its dynamics within the family, the male perception of domestic care, how the terms education and citizenship are perceived and internalized in everyday life, what disability means, and how families with disabled members work. The book not only addresses issues that, due to their domestic and current nature, affect the balance of sustainability, it also reviews others with equal or greater weight in human sustainability, such as corporate social responsibility and the governance of the health system.
