Desde esta perspectiva, se resumen los sistemas que han estado en vigor en la historia colombiana, se aborda el concepto de laicidad y su relación con la libertad religiosa, la igualdad y el pluralismo. Por último, la autonomía de las iglesias, como una de las expresiones más clara del binomio libertad religiosa-laicidad, es adoptada; esta se manifiesta en un particular reconocimiento jurídico y en el régimen previsto por la Ley Estatutaria de Libertad Religiosa. The guiding thread of this book is the relationship between religious freedom and secularity of the State. From this perspective, the systems that have been in force in Colombian history are summarized, the concept of secularity and its relation to religious freedom, equality and pluralism are discussed. Finally, the autonomy of the churches, as one of the clearest expressions of the binomial religious-secular freedom, is adopted; this is manifested in a particular legal recognition and in the regime provided by the Statutory Law of Religious Freedom.
