Anchored by BJ’s and PET- CO, the 122,830 s/f commer- cial property was purchased by PMG in 2015 and sold at the end of 2016 to Bluejay Capital Management , a real estate management and investment company with an impressive portfolio of retail properties across the country. Located nearby some of Charlotte’s most important economic drivers, Midtown Crossing is strategically sited near Central Piedmont Com- munity College, the Caroli- nas Medical Center, Novant Washington, DC — Trammell Crow Company and joint venture partners, Cottonwood Partners and a subsidiary of a private real estate fund advised by Crow Holdings Capital – Real Estate , have signed its second long-term lease for 164,110 s/f with the Depart- ment of General Services (“DGS”) of the District of Co- lumbia for occupancy by the Office of State Superinten- dent of Education (“OSSE”) and Department of Insur- ance, Securities and Banking (“DISB”) at Sentinel Square II, located at 1050 First St., NE inWashington, DC. Owned and operated by Meritus Health, the Learn- ing Center was originally established in the old Surrey School as a child care option for employees at the former Washington County Hospital. The 16,000 s/f building housed the child care center since its start and promoted the growth and development of hundreds of infants and toddlers from the community with rich early learning experiences in a warm environment of respon- sive care.
