OCTOBER | NOVEMBER | DECEMBER | JANUARY FALL 2026 Live Well Longer
A Culture of Kindness At Shell Point, kindness is expressed through generous giving, volunteer service, and thoughtful care for others. Residents support fellow residents, employees, and organizations throughout Southwest Florida, while sharing their time and talents across the community. And this year, for the first time, the Legacy Foundation’s Friendship Cup expands beyond the golf course as part of a special week celebrating kindness, friendship, generosity, and connection. Living well starts with the choices you make each day. Whether you participate in Shell Point classes and events or find your own ways to care for your whole self, Vitality, Growth, Belonging, and Stability are the pillars of healthspan that can help you build a longer, healthier, and more fulfilling life. Explore Active Aging Week activities, take the Healthspan Challenge, and discover how each dimension of wellness can keep you moving forward with purpose. Faith in Leadership For nearly two decades, Wanda Anderson has helped advance Shell Point’s mission through her service on its volunteer board of directors. During The Village Church’s Fall Missions Focus and an Academy presentation, residents will have the opportunity to learn more about Wanda and the experiences that have shaped her life and work. Connecting her presentations is the belief that guides her leadership: Lasting transformation begins when hearts and minds remain open to the guidance of the Holy Spirit.
