ENGAGEMENT DATE : 6.15.19 WEDDING DATE : 7.18.20 courtney and bryan met at 4-h camp many moons ago when they were just young kids. They returned to the camp summer after summer, and each year their connection as friends grew. They became a couple once they reached high school and have been together ever since. They share a love of nature and have had plenty of wild and wonderful adventures in the Mountain State. Watoga State Park became a favorite destination and, in June 2019, it’s exactly where Bryan decided to pop the question. He dropped to one knee on a breathtaking mountain overlook, with family and friends watching from a distance. Courtney accepted his proposal, and the couple has been busy planning their July 2020 wedding from their home in Morgantown, where the bride-to-be will attend West Virginia University School of Medicine in the fall and Bryan is finishing a master’s degree in accounting. mara and zachmet 15 years ago when both attended Madison Middle School. The two had many mutual friends and found a connection just before Mara’s family moved away. They reconnected on Facebook two years ago and hit it off instantly. Their first date was a hike along the Sunrise Carriage Trail just outside Charleston. They took their relationship to the next level, settling into coupledom together with four cats in Charleston, where Mara works as a development director for the Ronald McDonald House Charities and Zach works as an RN. In July 2019, the pair headed to Morgantown for a weekend getaway, and Zach chose Woodburn Circle at West Virginia University as the perfect place to propose. When he grabbed Mara’s hand and drew her in for a hug, he smiled and suggested they get married. He pulled a ring out of his pocket and made it official. The pair plan on exchanging vows in a summer 2021 ceremony. WHERE THEY RESIDE Charleston
