ADULT LESSONS-BASIC This course is designed to develop confidence and basic skills in the adult swimmer. It is geared toward the needs of the class. Comfort and flotation in thewater, basic survival, front crawl, back crawl, treadingwater and basicwater safety are just a fewof the skills taught. Classes consist of eight (8) 45-minute lessons; four (4) days aweek for two (2) weeks.

PADDLE PEARLAND – INTRO TO KAYAKING Want to try your hand at kayaking? Drop in and use our equipment and pool! Participants of all ages and abilities are welcome. For those too young to paddle themselves, staff will tow the kayak along the pool wall. All participantsmust wear a lifejacket, which are provided on-site. SWIM TEST Need to knowwhat swim lesson level to enroll your child? Need a specific swimcard to go to camp? Each participant will be evaluated based on the American Red Cross Learn- to-Swimexit skills assessments for the level being tested. The highest-level certificatewill be awarded upon successful completion. After this test, participants will be grouped and tested for specific swimskills required by various camps. June 25, July 23, August 20 – 9 - 11 a.m. $10 4+ years RCN FLOAT ‘N FLICK You’ve all heard of drive-inmovies; now it’s time to introduce you to our dive-inmovies: Float ‘n Flick! Come join us for an evening in the pool watchingmovies on our big screen. We will provide floats for participants to use to relax. Please note: only 50 tickets are available for purchase. Every member of a familymust purchase a ticket for admission. J une 25 and July 16 - 6 p.m. $10 per person All Ages RCN Movies: Shark Tale on June 25 and Pirates of the Caribbean: Curse of the Black Pearl on July 16 JUNIOR LIFEGUARD CLASS Have you ever wanted to know what it’s like to be a lifeguard, but are too young to get certified? Now’s your chance to become a Junior Lifeguard! Learn how to work as a team, how to recognize a victim and shadow actual lifeguards. June 13– June 24 - 1 - 4 p.m. $75 11-14 years RCN
MERMAID UNIVERSITY Calling all Mermen, Mermaids andMerfolk! Come join us in learning how to safely swimwith a tail. We provide different colored tails in all sizes. Participants get certified andwill receive a card that will allow them to continue using the tail whenever theymay likewhen visiting the pool. Families are highly encouraged to participate together!
