ACCESS
STUDENTS The Covid-19 pandemic changed the teaching landscape and ushered in modifi- cations to teaching and learning during 2020–2022. However, during 2022–2023 as the epidemic was declared over by the WHO, the department transitioned from modifications in delivery of teaching, learning and assessment in congruence with the dynamics of the COVID 19 pandemic and government mandated infection control protocols to FACE-TO-FACE delivery of clinical teaching, instruction and assessments. A cautious approach was adopted to the modifications thus minimiz- ing risk of acquiring SARS CoV2 infection among all stakeholders in the teaching and health care setting. Undergraduate • Teaching & learning for undergraduate Junior Clerkship students included: • History simulations (using actors/simulated patients) • Introduction of clinical examination using face-to-face instruction • Continuation of Discussion Forums utilising lessons learned from the
