Presented a paper entitled, “The Significance of Informa- tion Literacy Instruction in the Preparation of Jamaican Students for Tertiary Studies,” on April 20, 2023, at the Teachers’ Colleges of Jamaica Research Con- ference, held at the Holiday Inn Resort, Montego Bay, Jamaica. The conference was held under the theme, “ Preparing Teachers for the Next Education Task Force: Implications for National Development. • Heath, Rosemarie. Presented at an online workshop on AI and Information Literacy, hosted by the University of Alberta, Canada. On January 13, 2023. • Heath , Rosemarie. Attended and participated as a member of the LOC (Chair of the Hospitality team) in the 2023 Conference of the Association of College, University, Research and Institutional Libraries (ACURIL), at the Jamaica Pegasus Hotel, between June 4–8, 2023, under the theme: “Innovation: Oppor- tunities and Challenges in Libraries, Museums and Archives of the Caribbean.” Dr. Baker-Gardner • Baker-Gardner , Ruth. Participated in two panel discussions on the use of artificial intelligence and its implications on academic integrity. On March 23, 20 she participated in a forum titled “ChatGPT and Education: Threat or Opportunity?” hosted by the Faculty of Science and Technology. On April 18, 2022, she was a guest at a forum hosted by the University of the Commonwealth Caribbean where she spoke on the topic “Academic Integrity and Chat GPT: Friends or Foes”. Both presentations were well received. • Baker-Gardner , Ruth., On February 27, 2023, Dr. Baker-Gardner was invited by the MicoUniversity College to participate in an international panel discus- sion titled: ChatGPT and Education: Opportunities, Challenges or Threats for Educators?
