Ce sont 10 ateliers sur des sujets d’intérêt, qui se tiendront de septembre à novembre et qui seront donnés en français et en anglais. Le but des ateliers est d’infor- mer et demieux outiller les participants par rapport à différents volets en employabilité. « Parmi nos choix, notons la venue d’une spécialiste qui fournira aux participants de précieux renseignements sur comment poser sa candidature au gouvernement et maximiser ses chances d’être retenu dans le processus de sélection, ou encore les visites d’entreprises qui permettront aux partici- pants de découvrir des employeurs locaux et leurs types d’emplois tout en permettant un premier contact avec les responsables de Série d’ateliers offerts par le Centre de services à l’emploi l’embauche de chacune », a déclaré André Roy, directeur général du CSEPR. Le Centre offrira également une certifica- tion en premiers soins d’urgence et réanima- tion cardiorespiratoire pour faciliter l’accès à ceux qui requièrent une telle formation dans leurs métiers. Les conseillers à l’emploi présente- ront des ateliers sur la recherche d’emploi après 50 ans ainsi que sur la façon de déjouer les obstacles qui peuvent bloquer l’avancement profes- sionnel. « En soi, une belle série d’activités orches- trée par le Centre avec le seul objectif d’aider notre communauté, a ajouté M.
