College was well represented in the Canterbury senior school tennis championships held at Wilding Park in February. In the Year 11 competition, Jasper Johnson lost the semi- finals of the singles, William Morris was runner-up in the plate competition, and Harry Dargue and Jasper came 2nd in the doubles. In the Year 12–13 competition, Liam Adams defeated Nick Schneideman in the singles semi-final and then defeated Nant Prachuabmoh in the final for a College 1st and 2nd in senior singles. In doubles, College had three of the four semi-final teams, with Nant and Nick defeating Liam and Jenner in the final. The South Island secondary school championships were held in Timaru and College sent two teams to the tournament for the first time. After a full weekend of team tennis College had great success claiming 1st and 2nd place. The A team had pool wins over John McGlashan College and Christchurch Boys’ High School, while the B team defeated Ashburton College, Timaru Boys’ High School and St Bede’s College to advance to the final against the A team.

Guy Chaffey and Tom Tothill have been named in the Rowing New Zealand junior trial squad after their strong performance at the South Island championships. The boys were in College's number 1 gold medal winning U18 eight crew. Surfing College entered a team for the first time in the Canterbury school surfing Wednesday surf league, which faced a shortened Term 1 competition. St Andrew's College amassed a total of 128 points to win, Christ's College came 2nd on 91 points, and Shirley Boys’ High School 3rd with 79 points. There were 43 surfers across 11 different schools battling it out over the variety of conditions New Brighton had to offer. Individually, College’s Jack Mckenzie won the U16 grade, while Oscar Nott and Seb Hudson were 2nd equal in the U18 grade. Tennis The Canterbury secondary schools’ junior championships were held in Term 4 last year with College well represented in both the Year 9 and Year 10 grades. In the Year 9 competition, George Brakenridge was ranked number 4. He lost his semi-final to the top seed, but went on to take 3rd place in division 1. Ed Davidson won the consolation final, and George and Ed progressed to the semi-finals in the doubles competition. In Year 10, Jasper Johnson lost in the semi-finals, and Johnny Bullen was second in the consolation draw. In division 2, Henri Murison won the grade, with Rheon Salt taking 3rd place. In the doubles competition, Johnny and Henri lost the semi-finals, and Jenner and Rheon lost the final to come 2nd.

The final was a very close encounter, with the score being 2–2 after singles and then 3–3 upon completion of the doubles matches. The A team won on a countback, as the three and four singles went to a third set super tie break. The A team was Liam Adams, Jenner Johnson, Nick Schneideman, Nant Prachuabmoh and Lucca Wiseman, and the B team was Nont Prachuabmoh, Tom Downs, Nathan McKenzie, Liam Barrett and Jasper Johnson. In Term 1 College had 17 teams competing in the CSS midweek competition over six grades. At the time the competition was cut short, College were currently placed 1st equal in premier grade, 1st in B grade division 1, two College teams were 1st equal in B grade division 2, 2nd in junior division 1 and 1st in Year 9 division 2. Water Polo The Canterbury schools water polo competition operates with a junior competition in Term 4, which is followed by the senior competition in Term 1. In the junior competition, College played well in pool play with wins over Shirley Boys’ High School, St
