11th Annual NJAA PAC Reception
MONROE TOWNSHIP, NJ — Assemblywomen L. Grace Spencer (D- Essex) and Caroline Casagrande (R-Monmouth) led a panel discussion on politics and the multi-family rental housing industry as the New Jersey Apartment Association hosted its 11th Annual Political Action Committee (NJAA PAC) Reception on October 7 at the Crestmont Country Club in West Orange, NJ. More than 100 attendees enjoyed the dynamic conversa- tion, which also featured William J. Caruso , former executive director of the Assembly Democratic Majority Office and managing partner of Archer Public Affairs. Michael Aron , the chief political correspondent for NJTV, served as mod- erator for the wide-ranging discussion, which provided NJAAmembers with a unique opportunity to hear first-hand from legislative leaders on issues that impact the industry. Topics included housing policy, strengthening the state’s fiscal and economic footing and meeting transportation infrastructure needs, as well as politics and the November elections. “The NJAA PAC supports those legislators who share our vision to make New Jersey a place where multi-family rental housing is affordable, avail- able and sustainable,” said Michael Haydinger, chair of the NJAA Political Action Committee. “We thank our special guests for joining us and for their ongoing efforts on behalf of professional rental housing providers and our residents. We are also extremely grateful to all those in attendance for their support, which is critical to ensuring that our voice is heard in Trenton.” n
