DIY Face Covering - Sewn Cloth Face Covering

1. Cut out two 10-by-6-inch rectangles of cotton fabric. Use tightlywovencotton, suchasquilting fabricor cottonsheets. T-shirt fabric will work in a pinch. Stack the two rectangles; youwill sewthecloth facecoveringas if itwasasinglepiece of fabric.

3. Runa6-inch lengthof 1/8-inchwideelastic throughthewider hem on each side of the cloth face covering. These will be the ear loops. Use a large needle or a bobby pin to thread it through. Tie theends tight.Don’thaveelastic?Usehair tiesor elasticheadbands. If youonlyhavestring, youcanmake the ties longer and tie the cloth face coveringbehind your head.
