The Nats win one and lose one
Les Nationals de Rockland Junior A ont inscrit une défaite et une victoire la semaine dernière, l’emportant 5-2 contre les Grads de Navan et perdant 4-1 contre les Canadians de Carleton Place. Les Nats joueront à domicile le mercredi 22 novembre contre les Hawks de Hawkesbury avant de prendre la route pour quelques matchs. The RocklandNationals Junior A recorded one loss and one win last week. On Friday, November 17, the Rockland Nats squared off against the Navan Grads and took home a win during the home game. The Nats took home an encouraging 5-2 victory over the Grads. Mathieu Blanchette and Benjamin Pruneau carried the Nats, each scoring two goals. Josh Stanley was the third scorer. Nats’ goaltender Zach Roy blocked 21 of 23 shots that came his way, while Grads’ goalie, Seth Carter, had to stop 30 of 35 shots on net. Grads’ captain Zachary Salloumwas named the third star of the game for his goal, while Blanchette was the second star of the game. Pruneau earned his first star nomination with two goals and two assists. The Nats took a step backwards during their next game on Sunday, November 19, falling to the Carleton Place Canadians. Canadians’ Travis Broughman earned the first star for his one goal and one assist, while Canadians’ goaltender Michael Leach was the second star, saving 25 of 26 shots that came his way. Nats’ forward Cameron Scrivens scored the only goal for his team, but Assistant cap- tain Wade Brennan earned the third star of the game for his tireless effort throughout Le haut niveau des ventes COMMENCE ICI.
