Well, look at the “Table of Contents” page and you will see that the first number was issued November 17, 1910, which would make The King’s Business just thirteen years old on November 17, 1923. . Sometime ago we asked our subscribers for suggestions as to how we could increase our subscription list to 100,- 000, and one good friend—Miss Annie K. Pettigrew, whose name appears above—said she thought it would be a fine idea to give a King’s Business Birthday Party when the proper time came around, and composed and sent a poem of invitation, as printed above. Inasmuch as this particular birthday comes in November, and November is followed by December, and December means Christmas, and Christmas suggests Christmas pre sents,—why not combine these two delightful occasions and give The King’s Business to some friend as a Christ mas present, sending us the subscription so it will reach us not later than November 17, in time for the party?
