Miss C h ristin e F ran d sen , '21 w ho is ta k in g m edical stu d ies in London, in p re p a ra tio n fo r m issio n ary w o rk in A frica, is now engaged in d istric t w ork in th e e a ste rn p a rt of London, w hich is g en erally know n as th e p oorest section of th e city. I. g ra d u a te ), and th e d elivery of th e oration, “T he W id e-F lu n g Door” over th e radio. Mr. and Mrs. L ew is W ickens (nee A gnes R am sdale) have been in th e L ord’s w ork a t L iberty, M issouri fo r ab o u t a year. Mr. W ickens is a tte n d in g W illiam Jew ell College a n d is p a sto r of th e M ount V ernon B a p tist C hurch a t Am sterdam , Mo. John Dunlop, '15, of Cebu, P. I., sends in fo rm atio n re g ard in g th e “S tu d en t C h ristian C enter,” w hich is an effort to help th e 3,000 stu d e n ts of Cebu to know th e W ord of God. God has given a fine piece of land in th e m id st of th e school c en ter; a building h as been erected in fa ith , and th e W ord of God is th e only a ttra c tio n offered th e stu d e n ts.
