In th e d istric t of Z acatecoluca we have, a g row in g w ork, especially in th e tow n s of San Ja u n N onualco and S antiago Nonucalco. The b e­ liev ers in S antiago N onualco have ra ised $125 tow a rd s th e p u rch ase of th e p re sen t chapel building. We have, of course, th e obstacles and a n ta g o n ism s w hich a rise to ov er­ come, b u t we a re m ak in g p ro g ress in th is comm ercial c ity w ith its m aterialism , its w ealth, its Y ankee irrelig io n , fo reig n con- tin e n talism and ‘lib e ra l’ th eology and ‘advanced’ th in k in g . We a re now b eg in n in g th e erectio n of a fine church. A t th e la s t m ee tin g o f P re sb y te ry I w as elected M oderator fo r th is year. I t is a new experience fo r me and I a p p rec ia te th e confidence of ou r m en.”

REGARDING RECEIPTS FOR SUBSCRIPTIONS

In order to avoid much needless expense, it has been decided to discontinue the sending of re­ ceipts for regular subscriptions. (This is the pol­ icy of most first class m agazines). However, where a gift subscription is sent, receipt will be sent to the donor so that they may know that the m atter has been properly taken care of. Expiration d ate will show plainly on outside wrapper, each month. WATCH IT, and renew in plenty of time. You cannot afford to miss a single issue.
