Reach Your Goals With Physical Therapy PAINLESS RESOLUTIONS
Get in Motion
At the start of every year, millions of Americans make resolutions to live happier, healthier lives. Throughout January, gyms nationwide are bursting at the seams with gung-ho exercisers. But come spring, those resolutions melt with the snow. If you are living with chronic pain, fitness goals can be even harder to keep. Physical therapy can help alleviate your pain while keeping you on track to make your resolution a reality. Pain makes it tough to maintain an active lifestyle, and the cold weather only makes things worse. Luckily, many rehabilitation techniques and warmup exercises exist to alleviate those aches and make exercising easier. Massage, heat, and cold therapy can sooth muscles and ligaments before you put them back to work. Get Warmed Up

RECIPE: Pistachio Goji Berry Granola
Okay, I admit it. I have a dog crush. You see, there’s this dog, and I think it’s a lab. I don’t know if it’s male or female, so I’ll use the word “it.” This dog has the greatest job in the world, I think. It gets to be at a football game and meet a lot of human friends. Then it gets wild applause and adoration when it runs out onto the field, picks up something the ball was placed on, and brings it back to where he started from. Personally, I think a better job would be to chase whoever catches the ball, but that’s just me. I get jealous and want to meet this dog so much that I bark, run up to the TV, and jump up and down, totally excited out of my mind. It irritates Al and Michelle when they’re trying to relax and watch the game. I don’t blame them, but seeing the dog do that job really gets me all “doodled up.” That’s goldendoodle lingo for extremely happy and excited.
So, like good boy, I go back and lay between them until the next Bronco kickoff, when I get doodled again. My point here is that going back to lay between my owners is something I treasure. I hope the lucky lab dog gets to do the same at home when it’s away from its job at the football game. When I’m with my owners, I realize I should feel lucky and blessed that I have a job too. My message: Be the best you can be at whatever you’re doing at the moment. Harry
