Those involved in the transportation of high value products, which could be considered vulnerable to theft, should be aware of the higher risk or hijack due to the nature of their load. In the event of the threat of physical or verbal assault due to a confrontation or a potential confrontation occurring, Staff are advised to avoid such situations and return to their vehicles or other place considered safe at the earliest opportunity. Contact should be made with the relevant emergency services, and their line manager who are then advised to contact the security department.
