KIN CLUB WRAPS IT UP
The Kin Club of Russell held its last meeting for the year, welcoming four new members and deciding on upcom- ing projects. The Kin Club now stands at 48 members, having added 21 new members to its ranks since October. The Kin Club had a big year – its Sports Dome project won the Service Project award at the District Convention in Cornwall. The project will now be competing at the national level for Best Service Project PGUIF:FBS
The Kin Club has decided on a number of projects for the fall, most notably starting to work on Welcome to Russell signs for the east and west entrances of the township. The club will also be hosting its first District Convention, the District Fall Leadership $POGFSFODF JO3VTTFMMPO/PWFNCFSBOE XJMMIPMEUIF%S%BSSFMM.FOBSE3PBTUPO December 1. On top of all that, the Kin Club will also be continuing its Catch the Ace lottery draw, which started on June 17.

AVIS EST DONNÉ que le Conseil de la Corporation du canton de Russell a adopté le Règlement N o 94- 2018, le 5 e jour de juillet 2018, sous l’article 34 de la Loi sur l’aménagement du territoire. AVIS EST DONNÉ que le Conseil de la Corporation du canton de Russell a adopté le Règlement N o 2018-094, le 5 e jour de juillet 2018, sous l’article 34 de la Loi sur l’Aménagement du territoire, L.R.O. 1990, Chapitre p.13, tel qu’amendée. ET AVIS EST DONNÉ que toute personne ou tout organisme public peut faire un appel au Tribunal d’appel de l’aménagement local concernant ledit règlement en déposant un avis d’appel précisant l’objection au règlement ainsi que les motifs de l’objection. L’avis d’appel doit être remis au greffier de la Corporation du canton de Russell au plus tard le 1 er jour d’août 2018, et doit être accompagné des droits prescrits aux termes de la Loi sur la Commission des affaires municipales de l’Ontario (300 $ payables au ministre des Finances de l’Ontario). TAKE NOTICE that the Council of the Corporation of the Township of Russell passed By-law # 2018- 094 on the 5 th day of July, 2018, under Section 34 of the Planning Act, R.S.O. 1990, Chapter p.13, as amended. AND TAKE NOTICE that any person or public body may appeal to the Local Planning Appeal Tribunal in respect of the By-law by filing with the Clerk of the Corporation of the Township of Russell not later than the 1 st day of August 2018, a notice of appeal setting out the objection to the By-law and the reasons in support of the objection. The appeal must be accompanied by the fee of $300 required by the Local Planning Appeal Tribunal and must be payable to the Minister of Finance of Ontario.
