A Good Report (JUL-SEP 2026)

Teen and Adventure Camp Update T he summer of 2026 provided campers and staff with two very different, yet equally rewarding, opportunities to build friendships, enjoy God’s creation and grow through shared experiences. From the fellowship and ac- tivities of Summer Camp in East Texas to the demanding backcountry adven- ture of Glacier National Park, both camps emphasized teamwork, persever- ance and Christian living.

and the other a formal event themed “A Night in Central Park.” The camp also enjoyed its most epic fireworks show yet, with an hour of fireworks (provided free of charge by members in Wisconsin) over the lake com- memorating America’s 250th anni- versary. The Christian Living theme, based on Psalm 34:14, was “Depart from evil, and do good; seek peace, and pursue it.” Daily Christian Living classes focused on this theme, along with Friday evening Bible Studies and Sabbath services. These spiritu- al activities were streamed and made available online.

Summer Camp 2026 – Lone Star Camp, Athens, Texas Over 100 campers and staff attended this year’s Summer Camp at Lone Star Camp making it a tremendous success! This year campers enjoyed a full schedule of all the regular ac- tivities along with several new ex- periences. For the first time, three off-campus field trips were included in the schedule. Campers visited Caldwell Zoo in Ty- ler, home to more than 3,000 animals representing over 200 species. An- other day was spent at a Waterpark, featuring waterslides, swimming

and wading pools, along with pizza and drinks. The third outing took the group to a roller-skating rink, which was rented exclusively for the camp- ers and provided two hours of skating and fellowship.

Unity was very evident at Camp this year. Campers and staff worked to - gether as a family, creating an atmo- sphere of fellowship and shared ac- complishment.

Special events included two Saturday night dances—one a costume dance
