Cinq résidents de Casselman ont été honorés la semaine dernière lors des Distinctions de l’Ontario. Ces personnes ont reçu un certificat au niveau provincial qui leur a été remis par le conseil de la Municipalité de Casselman. On voit ici le conseiller Mario Laplante, la conseillère Francyn Leblanc, le maire Daniel Lafleur, Cécile Baker (40 ans de bénévolat), Michel Dupuis (30 ans de bénévolat), Gilles Lapointe (30 ans de bénévolat), le conseiller Paul Groulx, André Deslauriers (30 ans de bénévolat), André Dignard (10 ans de bénévolat), ainsi que le conseiller Marcel Cléroux. —photo fournie NOUS RECHERCHONS LIVREURS DE JOURNAUX ET CIRCULAIRES
PICTURE PERFECT PHOTO WINNER
A misty summer morning along the Castor River proved a winning scenario for local photographer Katrina Lamont Stanley. Her shot won her first-place honours out of the five finalists in the Russell Township Public Library’s 2019 Photography Contest and will illustrate the public library’s 2020 souvenir cards. An exhibition of all the finalists’ entries in the competition is scheduled as part of the library’s “Our Community Vision” event, November 16 evening. —supplied photo
