April 2025
April saw us celebrate Easter with a curious little bunny making a surprise appearance. To everyone's delight we had a visit from the Ole Lollie Shop , giving residents the chance to pick out sweet gifts for their loved ones – and enjoy a few treats themselves. April also gave us an opportunity to reflect on history with a special event marking the anniversary of the Titanic’s sinking . Residents watched the Titanic film and enjoyed a high tea , with the kitchen team serving a selection of cakes for morning tea and recreating an original Titanic lunch menu . Anzac Day was solemnly acknowledged, as we paid tribute to those who served. We also welcomed our little friends from Oak Tree Academy. The children crafted cheerful flower plates for Mother’s Day . The room was alive with glue, glitter, and giggles and it all ended on a high note with the ever-popular chicken dance .
