Fimbrez: Indignum Memorare is an original book cover design rooted in medieval manuscript tradition. The cover painting was digitally illustrated to reflect the visual conventions, color palette, and tonal quality of the period rather than contemporary realism. The typography and ornamentation draw from illuminated manuscript forms and were integrated as a unified compositional system. The title, Latin for “Unworthy to be Remembered,” references the self-effacing colophons of medieval scribes, connecting the design concept directly to its historical source material.
