AEW ASSOCIATION OF ELECTRICAL WHOLESALERS AWARDS 2022 WEEE RECYCLING AWARDS

T he WEEE Recycling Awards were presented by Leo Donovan, CEO of WEEE Ireland and rewarded the best branch in each group and also the most improved branch in each of the six groups. WEEE Ireland is a not for profit organisation, committed to delivering cost effective compliance on behalf of its Producer Members. The organisation represents 96 per

cent of the Irish battery industry and 74 per cent of the household electrical and electronic industry. It has been operational since 2005 and has been the scheme of choice in Ireland maintaining majority market share across all sectors. WEEE Ireland operates under the approval of the Minister for the Environment, Climate and Communications.
