Edmundson Electrical Dublin stood out as the clear winner for Individual Branch of the Year in this year’s awards. The expert panel of judges were amazed at the level of dedication this particular branch puts into constantly developing all aspects of the business. The judges were pleased to read about how the Glasnevin team are investing further into its staff training with more staff enrolled on upcoming Dale Carnegie courses and have already have 3 staff undertaking the EDA modules and further product training organised with leading suppliers in the UK and Ireland in specialists areas such as secure-environment lighting, EV charging and human centric lighting systems. With the move towards a more sustainable future, Edmundson Electrical are planning to invest in a 46Kw Solar PV system to help move towards a carbon neutral workplace. Judges praised how Edmundson Electrical have recognised that their staff are the key to the success and that the are very conscious that a positive mental health contributes to the overall well-being and performance of its staff and have further plans to use a redundant space and turn this into a gym and showers for all the staff.
A fantastic result for CSGL Electrical Wholesalers Ltd who claimed the winning title of Independent Wholesaler of the Year for 2022. The judging panel praised the “personable touch” delivered by the team at the family-run independent electrical wholesaler. The wholesaler opened its doors in 2011 and has continued its programme of continuous improvement within the company throughout the years. With an emphasis on providing a focused friendly atmosphere for everyone that walks through the doors, regardless of how small or large the purchase, is the key success for the business. This was picked up on by the judging panel as a clear attribute to the business and a deciding factor when it came to mark scoring. CSGL concentrate on solution- based service and take the time to educate customers by providing them with information to make an informed decision on a purchase. The judges liked how CSGL have big goals and ideas while still valuing its current position in the market. One judge remarked how “The future is certainly bright” at CSGL.
