A fantastic calibre of entries was submitted to this category, but it was Kellihers Electrical who stood out as the clear winner for the judging panel. With 23 branches nationwide, Kellihers recognise that the success of the company would not be possible without its greatest asset – its people. The company employ product specialists across all product categories to provide support on projects from design right through to the installation. Its core philosophy is the keen focus on customer service. Something which the judges felt made Kellihers a cut above the rest when it came to awarding points. The team strive to meet the requirements of all of its customers whether it is for a small domestic job or a large commercial project. Kellihers has been trading for over 50 years starting out with one store in Tralee, Co. Kerry and quickly became one of Ireland’s largest electrical wholesalers expanding to its 23 locations today. Judges thought the testimonials served as further evidence of just how worthy Kellihers were to take the winning title in this category. In addition, the judges noted how Kellihers provide a dedicated salesforce both inhouse and on the road who are constantly developing new business for the company right across the country. Judges: “Great testimonials and great service.”
Greg Renwick of GTR Electrical exemplified quality service and professionalism in his nomination form making him a firm favourite in this category. The panel agreed that GTR Electrical merited the top spot and were most impressed by the company’s dedication to client satisfaction and high quality workmanship, as his many 5-star Google Rated Reviews and clients attest too. GTR Electrical has over 25 years’ experience in domestic and commercial works, as well as being a long- standing member of RECI/Safe Electric. Based in Sandyford, Dublin they service the Greater South Dublin area, providing services that include, LED downlight installation, house rewiring, extension electrical services, attic conversion electrics, fuse board upgrades and much much more. Judges were very impressed with the extensive works completed by GTR Electrical at St. Columbas College & Kilmashogue Golf Club. They were tasked with supplying and installing a large amount of outdoor LED lighting from street lighting, cast iron Harte bollards and Philips LED floodlights throughout the whole complex. Also, a complete retro fit of LED lighting to the on-site sports gymnasium. GTR Electrical have also completed many large rewires in the local area along with his seven day a week emergency callout service, helping him to create a very large and happy customer base which he continually strives to grow. A very deserving win in a hotly contested category.
