Congratulations to South Dublin Electricians for claiming the winning title in this category. Beating off fierce competition, the team of judges were clearly enthused with the project submission from this small contractor. The project inputted was a full rewire of the Sprezzatura restaurant in Rathmines, completed in October 2020. The historical red-brick building was largely unused since AIB’s departure in the 1900’s before being renovated to the Sprezzatura. From new cabling to an upgraded lighting and heating system, the entire work took three months to complete. All judges commented on how this was a fantastic entry and were impressed with the time spent and dedication that went into the submission. They all felt that the level of care given to the building itself was very admirable, given the historic nature of it. South Dublin Electricians was established in 2016 by Martin Lavelle as a one-man band and from its formation offers a high-quality electrical installation service in an easier, friendly and efficient approach. What sets South Dublin Electricians apart from the competition is the capacity to understand its client’s needs. Judges noted how when clients share their vision of what they’re hoping to achieve, South Dublin Electricians dive into the details to gain a better understanding and fulfil its client’s desire.

Congratulations to Demesne Mechanical & Electrical Engineering Ltd on their fantastic win in this popular category.
