Marketing and sales • Identify opportunities for business growth and define and implement a marketing plan to promote these. Nursery • To be responsible for the Nursery, ensuring proper standards are maintained and that all relevant legislation is compiled with. • To manage the requirements, and be responsible, for Ofsted and any other inspections. • To ensure that the Nursery operates at a profit. To prepare budget and recommend salary increases to the Bursar on an annual basis. • To explore opportunities to expand the Nursery. • Ensure that the Free Entitlement is implemented and that financial records are kept in relation to the • Assist the School’s Safety, Health, Environment and Fire Officer, including membership of the Health & Safety committee and maintenance of the Risk Assessment library and Accident Report library. Services • To be responsible for the purchase of gas, electricity and water and to monitor utility expenditure. To change suppliers, through competitive tendering processes, where necessary to ensure that Christ’s Hospital receives these services at the best price available. Administer the School’s Renewable Obligations Register ensuring monthly data is uploaded according to the necessary schemes. • To manage the allocation and budget for phones (including mobile phones) for all school staff. Produce monthly reports sent to users for them to identify. • Administer the Resident’s utilities and pass information to accounts to enable them to invoice accordingly. Perform any other duties as requested by the Bursar that are within the scope and purpose of the job and for the effective operation of Bluecoats Sports and CHEL. This job description reflects the present requirements of the job. As duties and responsibilities change and develop, the job description will be reviewed and may be subject to amendmendments. Salary and Benefits Salary £45,000 to £51,000 dependant on experience.
