The Sika Trocal systems linked seamlessly to the pitched roof areas of this older building, delivering superior waterproofing capabilities. “GBS Roofing installed an IKO Bituminous roofing system on the 17 story tower. G BS Roofing was contracted to install all flat roofing requirements at The Ewart building, Belfast and completion took approximately 12 months.

It is best practice with historic buildings to avoid, where possible, the use of systems requiring
Areas of machinery and the resulting foot traffic for maintenance activities required a highly durable flat roofing solution.” The roof terrace, which wraps around three elevations of the building, was completed with the IKO Bituminous system and finished with decorative A&G Fiamma paving flagstones.

The scope of works included the manufacture and installation of toilet cubicles, IPS panels, solid surface wash troughs, mirror wall units and tall mirrors,
highest grade, including compact grade laminate for IPS panels, solid surface material for troughs and flush fronted floor to ceiling toilet cubicles.
