A rchitectural glass specialists, Fire Glass Direct, designed and installed a bespoke painted glass reception feature wall, entrance balustrade and mirrors. The team at Fire Glass Direct worked alongside the main contractor OHMG very early in the programme, which helped ensure the entire process moved along smoothly. A brief was received at the design stage of the process, which required a range of high spec products to meet the architect’s Grade A design finish, specifically: 6mm toughened and coloured glass in aluminium frame, stainless steel balustrade with glass infill panels and 6mm silver mirror bonded to walls. Fire Glass Direct has been in business since 2004. During this time it has developed a reputation as a supplier of pioneering
specialist glazing. Innovation has been the key to the culture within Fire Glass Direct since it began trading. For this reason, it quickly became the market leader in fire and safety glass distribution as well as in office partitions specialising in the supply and installation of glazing for architects and clients’ specifications. All glass is cut in-house, supplied and installed by highly skilled fitters, employing critical risk assessment for a safe and sustainable environment.
