K CC Group was involved from the initial design and specification stage of this prestigious project, working closely with the design teams in both TODDs and OHMG and their manufacturing company Elite Doors to provide a fully certified and integrated high performance timber doorset solution, door automation, access control, ironmongery, fire-rated glazed screens and doors and concealed frame riser doorsets. Working closely with the project architect KCC Group utilised their 360 scheduling and specification system to ‘mentally walk the building as the user would’ to deliver a detailed access and fire strategy. “The benefit of 360 is
that every aspect of the client’s project is considered. We provide our clients with colour-coded floorplans, clear documentation, operational overviews, warranties, certification, and wiring information for every single component specified”, advises Tony Campbell, KCC Sales Director. KCC also provided a series of specialist concealed frame riser doorsets, an aesthetically-pleasing solution to traditional riser doors that leave only a minimalist shadow gap on view; a series of fire rated, acoustic glazed screens and doors, grade 316 stainless steel architectural ironmongery in addition to door automation and electric locking. KCC also provided fully automatic
revolving door systems along the exterior envelope of the building for the east and west entrances of the building.
