BEING GRATEFUL

A Personal Message from Noah Katz, Co-President

Please let me share something personal about Thanksgiving. Every year when my family gets together for Thanksgiving, it’s about 20 or more people with my parents, my sisters, and my brother and their spouses, all our children, and any friends who join us. Before we start eating, we always go around the table and each person, including the kids, says what they are grateful for this year. It’s a very nice moment during the holiday to hear what everyone has to say. I’d like you to know what I’m grateful for this year. I’m grateful for my family: my amazing, beautiful wife, Deborah, and my two beautiful children. I’m also grateful to be part of an amazing company that has close to 1,000 very hardworking people. I’m grateful for all of our amazing team members. I’m also grateful for you — that you have chosen to spend your hard-earned money in our stores and that you trust us to supply you with food for your families. Here’s my suggestion for you to do this year at your Thanksgiving table: Go around the table and say what you’re all grateful for. You’ll be amazed at the magic that happens as you go around the room. Thank you!
