I am the Business Sector Director at Bid Recruitment, specialising in bid and work- winning recruitment across professional services. I partner with clients across real estate, construction and engineering consultancies, as well as legal and financial services, supporting them in securing high-performing bid and business development talent. After studying mathematics and artificial intelligence at the University of Sussex, I spent seven years at Carphone Warehouse before moving into recruitment in 2010. I began my recruitment career with On- Target, a specialist in sales and business development, before joining Badenoch & Clark in 2017 to further develop my expertise in sales, bids and tender recruitment. I later joined MRG to lead the Bid Recruitment team. With a strong background in both industry and recruitment, I take a consultative approach to partnering with clients and candidates, helping to build high-performing teams across the work-winning landscape.
I am a Business Director based in Birmingham, covering the Midlands and Northern regions. I specialise in recruiting across all work-winning roles, including bids, business development, marketing, graphic design, estimating and pre-construction, supporting clients at all levels. I offer temporary, interim and permanent recruitment solutions on both a retained and contingent basis, partnering with organisations ranging from specialist SMEs to large corporates. I began my recruitment career in 2010 and have focused on work- winning professionals since 2017. I work across a broad range of sectors, including architecture, facilities management, construction, civil engineering, energy, utilities, healthcare, non-profit, technology, professional services and consultancy.

I am an experienced recruitment professional with over 10 years in the industry. Based in Suffolk, I support clients across the UK, delivering national coverage for contract and freelance bid professionals across a wide range of sectors. I work with talent at every level, from Bid Administrators, Coordinators and Writers through to Bid Managers, Heads of Bids, and specialists in Business Development and Marketing. With deep market knowledge, an extensive contractor network and a consultative approach, I connect organisations with the right interim expertise while providing trusted, relationship-led support to both clients and candidates.
I specialise in the recruitment of Bid Management, Business Development and Marketing roles, partnering with main contractors, affordable housing contractors, specialist sub-contractors and architectural practices. I began my career in technical recruitment in 2005 and joined MRG in 2009. Since then, I have supported clients across London and the South East. I have delivered a range of successful assignments in recent months, including a Regional Business Development Manager for a national contractor, a Bid Writer within affordable housing, a Bid Manager for a fit- out business, and a Business Development Manager for a specialist public sector refurbishment contractor.

SEARCH METHODOLOGY We specialise in appointments ranging from Bid and Business Development Coordination to Heads of Function and everything in between for work- winning teams. We're easy to deal with and we offer contingent and search processes for the more senior appointments. Whatever your preferred way of working, we will adapt - our quality of process won't. We research, identify and assess top talent based on your requirements and use a bespoke selection matrix to ensure that we are presenting to you what you won't find on a CV. INTERIM MANAGEMENT We have supported numerous companies by adding interims to cope with added work flow of business development initiatives. This has included Pitch Design, Bid Writing and Bid Directors for high-profile projects such as HS2 and 22 Bishopsgate. All our interim professionals are vetted and our payroll services are undertaken in-house. CAMPAIGN MANAGEMENT The design and execution of multiple-hire campaigns including, advertising, selection and on-boarding, ensuring smooth mobilisation of teams or specialists.
