ing mutual experiences. This sum mer God has given me the opportu nity to go to Kenya, East Africa, to work with my aunt who’s a mission ary nurse. This will be a great ex perience, but also a practical means to share Jesus Christ with others. I want to follow the Lord’s direction for my life wherever it may be.” After learning of this unique pro gram, friends may want to know how a student who applies to Biola’s Nursing Program can receive finan cial help. Of course we know that “our help cometh from the Lord.” He certainly uses His faithful stewards. We have a student aid fund main tained to assist just such deserving young people. You see, nursing stu dents carry a very heavy course of studies on campus, as well as long laboratory hours in the hospitals and clinics. Especially in their final year it’s almost impossible for them to be employed while in preparation. Right now we need a building which will be adequate for both the audio-visual and manual laborato ries. We’ve been able to develop an excellent science building, housing the chemistry, microbiology, anato my and physiology laboratories used in nursing, but we’ve had to impro vise to meet basic needs for the total nursing program. Our total campus development plans include a facility for nursing. This building would be an ideal memorial should one of our friends be interested. We’d like to encourage participation in this por tion of the Lord’s work at Biola. In addition we need much wisdom and strength to represent well the Lord in all our relationships as we develop the nursing program. There are no office hours for leaders. Oh, Church of Christ, behold at last The promised sign appear; The gospel preached in all the world And lo, the King draws near.
