Tasmanian Hospitality Review - August/September 2026

Regional Roadshow

Hospitality Tasmania connects with regional businesses on picturesque East Coast as Statewide Roadshows continue Hospitality Tasmania recently spent four rewarding days travelling along Tasmania’s beautiful East Coast, accompanied by a valued group of our corporate partners, connecting with members and visiting local hospitality businesses. The road show provided an excellent opportunity to meet face-to-face with operators, hear firsthand about the opportunities and challenges they are experiencing, and strengthen the relationships that are so important to our industry. From cafés, cellar doors, breweries and restaurants to accommodation providers, pubs and tourism operators, every visit reinforced the resilience, passion and innovation that define Tasmania’s east coast hospitality sector.

We were incredibly encouraged by the positive feedback received throughout the tour. Operators appreciated the opportunity to engage directly with our team, discuss industry issues, learn about the support and services available through Hospitality Tasmania, and build valuable connections with our corporate partners.

A highlight of the tour was our East Coast Road Show Gateway to Growth events, which attracted an outstanding turnout from local businesses and industry representatives. The events were exceptionally well received, providing a relaxed and engaging environment for operators to connect with Hospitality Tasmania, our corporate partners and one another. The strong attendance and enthusiastic participation demonstrated the value of bringing the industry together in regional communities.
