In Culinary Arts Norrine Walsh won highest overall points and Kristyn Girard was the baking queen. Organizers did not have attendance num- bers by press time, but stated they were very pleased with the turn out of both parti-

The 2013 Navan Fair theme “stirrup some fun”was in evidence at the fair held at the Navan Fairgrounds by the Cumberland Township Agricultural Society the week- end of August 8 to 11. The four day event included agricultural exhibits, horticultural exhibits, culinary arts, heavy horse competitions, horse and trac- tors pulls, cattle shows, kids fun zone, base- ball games, antique machinery, conserva- tion tent, demolition derby, western games, and of course midway. Entertainment was also part of the fair

Mario St. Denis of Vars entered his Cockshutt 550 tractor in the tractor pull at the Navan Fair on Saturday, August 10. The successful fair held over the week- end of August 9-11 in Navan. St. Denis is a former president of the fair board of the Cumberland Township Agricultural Society.
