Indiana County Tourist Bureau Visitor's Guide

This is a must-see attraction for any fan of Indiana’s hometown hero. The museum first opened in 1995 with the goal of honoring and sharing Jimmy’s life and legacy through a collection of exhibits that highlight Jimmy’s broad acting career, his heroic military service, and an intimate glimpse into his life as a civic leader and family man. This collection includes original movie scripts, costumes, posters, photographs, and items from his military service. THE JIMMY STEWART MUSEUM

Jimmy personally selected some of the items on display including a Winchester commemorative rifle and a propeller blade autographed by the cast and crew of “Flight of the Phoenix”. The museum also features a vintage 1930’s movie theater with a state-of-the-art sound and projection system. Take in a matinee showing of a Stewart film or view a documentary film on his life and career. While you’re there, stop in the museum gift shop for a unique selection of souvenirs. You can also shop the store online by visiting the museum website: www.jimmy.org
