SCHROTH SCOLIOSIS THERAPY The Schroth Method is a nonsurgical option for scoliosis treatment. It uses exercises customized for each patient to return the curved spine to a more natural position. The goal of Schroth exercises is to de-rotate, elongate and stabilize the spine in a three-dimensional plane. During these exercises, correction of the pelvis, ribs, and shoulder alignment is emphasized. Schroth Method addresses the spinal rotation by corrections in all three planes. Since the spine has shortened due to the rotation and curves, the spine needs to elongate. This is why the Schroth based method is called a “three- dimensional treatment for scoliosis.” These exercises not only assist the brain and body with recognizing proper alignment of the spine but also in maintaining this alignment. Our “Schroth- based” training program focuses on the patient’s activities and teaches them how to do what they love to do, with better posture.

INGREDIENTS • 1 cup fresh carrot juice • Juice of 1 lime • 1-inch chunk ginger root, juiced • 1/2 large avocado • 1/2 ear of fresh organic, non-GMO raw corn

DIRECTIONS Pour the carrot, lime, ginger juice in a blender and add the avocado. Blend until smooth. Pour in a bowl and top the soup with fresh raw corn, shaved off the cob.
