Built America Magazine | South
Mauricio agrees. “We’ve built a solid team —great people in operations, sales, on the road. That’s been our biggest milestone.”
Josh adds, “We lead by example. I work in the warehouse. I drive. I clean bathrooms if that’s what needs doing. When your team sees that, it creates buy-in. We’re not ‘owners’—we’re part of the team. And I think that’s why we haven’t had turnover since day one.” That team now includes industry veterans like Danny Sarmiento, Alex Curda, Steve Renzi, and on the operations team Alex Labrada, Gerardo Gonzaga, and Chris Dorlus—each one committed not just to showing up, but to pushing the company forward. “Everyone here feels like they’re part of the company,” Mauricio says. “They have room to grow. The door is always open.”
Employee-Owned, Client-Driven
There’s a quiet confidence that comes from knowing everyone around you is personally invested in the success of the business. Quality Millwork is proudly employee-owned, and that fact is not just a footnote—it’s the lifeblood of their culture. “When you own your own company,” Mauricio explains, “you know what you need to go through. Most of our customers are in the same situation— they're owners too. That helps us speak the same language.”
